The Tri-Annual International Summit, Induction and Official Oath-Taking Award Ceremony for March

Batch A 2026 was successfully held on Wednesday, 11th March 2026, at the National Merit Award

House, Maitama, Abuja, Nigeria. The event marked the 19th Induction and Oath-Taking Ceremony of

the Institute and the first induction ceremony for the year 2026. The ceremony brought together distinguished personalities including forensic experts, intelligence

professionals, analysts, security practitioners, and business leaders from various sectors including

dignitaries. The gathering served as a high-level platform for professional engagement, collaboration,

and knowledge exchange on contemporary issues affecting security, governance, and economic

stability.

The ceremony commenced promptly at 12:00 PMwith an opening session that welcomed participants

and inductees to the summit and induction program given by the Director-General, Dr Ambassador

Okocha Morgan Meshack BSc, MSc, Seipn, Fnsis,Edmr, Epr,fsfs.

In his opening speech, he expressed his enthusiasm about the summit providing a unique opportunity

to share knowledge, exchange ideas and learn from one another. He emphasized the importance of

strengthening professional capacity and collaboration among experts in the fields of forensic

investigation, intelligence, and security management. Furthermore, he congratulated the inductees

and awardees who were present physically and viewers online.

Was included in presenting its own themes along with distinguished guests who graced the

ceremony.

This theme focused on the growing relevance of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in forensic investigations

and modern security operations. The core of the summit revolved around the theme Forensic

Investigation Application with Artificial Intelligence Tools in Modern Security Duty. Discussions led by

the Director-General and guest speakers explored how AI-driven technologies can improve

investigative accuracy, intelligence gathering, data analysis, and crime detection.

A key highlight was the presentation by ACP Umar Yakubu, representing the Inspector General of

Police. He addressed participants on the importance of adopting advanced technologies, specifically

highlighting the role of AI in forensic evidence analysis and the use of digital forensic tools for crime

prevention. Discussions centered on how AI-driven technologies can improve investigative accuracy, intelligence gathering, data analysis, crime detection, and overall security management.

 

  Experts at the summit examined emerging trends, challenges, and opportunities associated with

integrating AI tools into forensic practice and security frameworks.

He further highlighted that the summit provides an opportunity for experts and professionals to

engage in meaningful dialogue and develop strategies capable of addressing pressing political,

business, and economic challenges facing modern societies.

The session delved into the innovative processes of creating essential raw materials from recycled

plastic, rubber, and synthetic materials. This discussion emphasized the growing importance of

resource sustainability and the role of chemical engineering in addressing modern industrial needs.

Experts at the summit examined how these advancements in material science can be integrated into

broader security and economic frameworks, noting that professional training in these modern duties

is essential for future development.

With distinguished guest Mrs. Ukeje Zita Representative of Director-General NOSDRA for College of

Oil and Gas Exploration Technology Nigeria who also expressed her deep contributions towards the

theme. The discussion underscored that advancing these material technologies is not only an

economic necessity but also a critical component of modern security duties, as it requires

specialized professional training and capacity building. By integrating these scientific advancements

into broader security frameworks, the Institute aims to develop strategies capable of addressing the

pressing business and economic challenges facing contemporary society

Speaking, she examined that intelligence building in covert operations within Nigeria has shifted

toward a highly sophisticated, multidisciplinary approach that merges traditional field techniques

with advanced digital frameworks. Central to this evolution is the integration of Artificial Intelligence

(AI) and digital forensic tools, which allow security practitioners to enhance the accuracy of

intelligence gathering and complex data analysis. As discussed during technical sessions led by expert

Dr. Benedicta Kelechi Onyeogu from the College of Detective Investigation and Legal Studies Nigeria

(CDILSN), these covert operations are designed to identify and monitor contemporary threats to

national stability and governance.

Other notable personalities included Abubakar Shehu Kollere, Director Chemical & Pharmaceuticals,

Representative of Director-General RMRDC, S.A Banjo Representative Director-General of Legal Aid

Council, Engr. Chukwudi Nwabusiaku Representative of Director-General NESREA, Hakeem Lawal

Director, ICT Representing Director-General NAPTIP, DCG Mohammed Azare Representative of the

Commander General Vigilante Group of Nigeria.

A key highlight of the summit was the presentation delivered by the Special Guest Speaker, ACP Dr.

Ahmed Abubakar Audu, Commander-General, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps representing

the Inspector General of Police who addressed participants on the importance of adopting advanced

technologies in investigative and security operations.

The event reached a major milestone with the formal induction and official oath-taking for

the March Batch A 2026. Led by Bar. Dr. Chidinma Sylvia Mbachu, the Chief Oath

Administration Officer, qualified professionals were officially admitted into the Institute.

Ambassadors award, Honorary Doctorate awards.
